This week we have Just Sisters. A Jazz Quartet from Pondicherry.
Just Sisters are a harmony vocal pop group from Auroville, India. In the spirit of music performed by The Andrews Sisters, or The Pupini Sisters, or Lambert, Hendricks and Ross, Just Sisters are a similar outfit. The repertoire includes well- known standards and popular classics, typically arranged for three part harmony, featuring robust percussion, and sung in English, French and Portuguese.
Their members are Shakti Balu (keys and tenor/bass/lead voice), Sraddha Sobhan (alto/lead voice), Kirtana Krishna (guitar and soprano/lead voice), and Tommaso D’Avanzo (multi-percussion).
This is going to be the best concert in town at the best Cocktail bar in the city.
