For our first artist, we have Ainthinai, a Kochi-based indie folk band whose name is deeply rooted in ancient Tamil Sangam literature. “Ainthinai” combines “Ainth,” meaning “five,” and “Thinai,” meaning “earth.” Their music is a vibrant, joyful expression that captures the intricate connection between all living things in the natural world.

Vizhicharam is the name of their upcoming album with six songs. This event is to introduce you to that upcoming album.

For Ainthinai, the band name represents more than just a title—it’s a state of mind. Through their heartfelt and lively songs, they become the voice for nature, speaking for the elements of the earth that have none. Their ultimate mission is to spread love, harmony, and environmental awareness through their music, acting as advocates for the beauty and fragility of the natural world.

Unlike many other gigs, attending the full performance is important. So we are hoping you will show up by 7:00 sharp. We will close the doors at 7:30 and will open them only after the gig.
